Shonda crime number: 35- Addisam.
The awful relationship that was Addisam.
Life is not a spectator sport. Win, lose or draw, the game is in progress, whether we want it to be, or not. So, go ahead, argue with the refs, change the rules… cheat a little, take a break… and tend to your wounds. But play. Play. Play hard. Play fast. Play loose and free. Play as if there’s no tomorrow.
Okay, so it’s not whether you win or lose… it’s how you play the game. Right?
“The supreme irony of life is that hardly anyone gets out of it alive”
-Robert A. Heinlein
Donorcycle: Any grossly overpowered motorcycle, considered likely to land an inexperienced rider’s organs in someone else’s body. (Originally, emergency-room slang for “the motorcycle crashed by the patient now on the table.”)
"Patients who undergo an amputation often feel sensation where the missing limb was, as if it’s still there. This syndrome is called phantom limb. It’s as if the body can’t accept that a terrible trauma has occurred. The mind is trying to make the body complete again. Patients who experience phantom limb report many different sensations, but by far the most common is pain.”
This is perfect.
This song is beautiful. I heard it from “Perfect Storm” episode of Grey’s Anatomy :)
OMG I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS SONG!
I had this badass professor in med school. She seemed invincible. And then, one day, she needed her gallbladder out. And the surgery killed her. Her platelets stopped clotting. She bled out on the table. Everything that could have gone wrong – did go wrong. The surgeons have a name for it. We call it a perfect storm. Funny, I never thought it would happen to me.

lol. I thought it said fuck me. instead of pick me. #dying.
I love Richard Webber, I do. Honest. People might hate me, but seriously…. (See seriously) It was his time to go. I don’t mind him not being dead just so Bailey can say her piece to him - which really needs to be said - but then he can go. He is an amazing man, this is true, but still, I think he has been sidelined this past season, for a reason. They wanted to let him go.
WEBBER was amazing. But it was fine for him to go.
